During this July, LA Gratia Community Church members planed for a Yosemite Camping trip, some members joined this trip and they had a great time enjoying the wonderful nature God created. Members were able to get close to each other during this time, they shared the message of God together, testified what God had done for them. It was a blessed trip! The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. -(Psalm 19:1-2)

The spring retreat was held on March 24-26 at Alliance Redwoods. Members gathered there to retreat from their mundane lives and dwell in the Word of God. The church pastors shared messages from Matthew 13 for the whole retreat. Besides the indoor Bible studies, group discussions, presentations, they also had fun outdoor activities such as Archery.

On March 3, members visited Skirball Cultural Center after Sunday service. They visited Noah’s Ark and it helped members to know more about Jewish tradition and history in accordance with what the Bible talked in Genesis.

LA Gratia Community Church held two-day retreat on July 27-28, 2018 with the attendees from UCSD and UCLA campus bible study group. They started with ice breaking activities, and prayer meeting on the 27th evening, members prayed for each other for spiritual growth and openness of their heart to God. It was fun and refreshed time that members can know each other. The following day were with two bible studies, one in the morning focused on John 5 and another in the afternoon from Matthew 13. Gratia Community Church had a wonderful thanksgiving time with members on Nov 23rd. The thanksgiving service started from 4pm and Pastor Allen preached a message with Psalms 103:1-5 to encourage members count the abundant grace God has given us during this one year. After the service the church had a talent performance time and thanksgiving dinner. Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
